Seed Swap
After last year's success, on the evening of Tuesday, 3th November, at 7.30pm in the Girls Brigade Hall, 19a Victoria Street, Aberdeen, The Royal Horticultural Society of Aberdeen (RHSA) will be having another informal 'seed swap'. Members and others are invited to bring seeds - either collected from their own garden, or surplus seeds from elsewhere (including commercial packets) - and exchange them for other kinds.
This should be an excellent opportunity to acquire seeds of more unusual plants, as well as obtaining more usual seeds economically. Those with no seeds to swap will be able to take part, choosing seeds in return for a modest donation to RHSA funds. Plants for exchange will also be welcome.
When collecting your own seeds to swap, please put them in a "named" paper bag or envelope and give as much of a description of how to grow the seeds as possible.
The evening will also provide an opportunity to socialise, For further information phone Lesley Glasser on 01224 712605.
